Los Alamo’s sets off Main Street in a plain blue building, however, you will discover upon entrance that there are two separate dining areas and lots of wait staff to serve you. Established in 1993, this restaurant is very busy and popular. They have a lunch special daily on the chalkboard, and on the day I went, it was a Taco Plate, with your choice of chicken or beef, with rice and beans, for $5.99. The menu is Tex-Mex, but also includes steaks, catfish, burgers, and salads. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. For $4.99, the children can choose from five items as well, if they don’t just fill up on chips! Prices range from $5.99 for a burger or the Daily Special, to $15.99 for a T-bone.
